Believe it or not after driving all around the country for the last six or seven months looking at beautiful places we found we needed a break. Sorry it's been so long since our last post but today we have several pics for you to look at. Coming this summer Linda and I have accepted a volunteer position with the Vermont State Parks. We will be working at the Knight Point State Park on an island in Lake Champlain Vermont only about 20 miles from the Canadian border. We're excited about this opportunity and are looking forward to being in a part of the country where neither of us have been before. If the timing works out as we expect after our stint in Vermont we'll drive up to Nova Scotia for a look around before it gets too cold. Then the plan is to winter on the Rio Grande in South Texas. |
